Sun Oct 7th - The Mob attends the £10 freezeout at The Pigeons mob handed... I'm out 1st, closely followed by 'The BQ Kid', Paul hangs in a bit longer; but essentially it's another embarrassing display!!
Mon Oct 8th - Whilst I had won right to a seat in the APAT English Champs, since I played my regional qualifier at a Gala casino I was paid out in full, but with the option to buy... So anyway, with nothing better to do on Monday night I decide to enter the online APAT satellite on Blue Square, a $20 + $2 freezeout with one seat for every 10 players... with 161 players there would be seats for the top 16. These satellites are 5000 chip / 15 min blinds affairs and no antes in the structure on BlSq they tend to drag on a bit! Now at 00:45 on Tuesday morning there are still 25 left, I have just gone into a good chip lead with a little over 80,000. I had calculated that average chips when down to 16 was going to be a little over 50,000. So I decided I had enough chips to fold into the last 16... and went to bed! It appears I was still in 2nd chip position when the tournament ended... so another seat won and an additional $50 in my BlSq account! Since the seats are not transferable I emailed APAT and told them I would not need the one I won in Bristol and it could be re-sold in the click-fest.
And there's more......
