So, I've got a couple of days off work, but don't need a haircut... It was pissing down with rain and I had seen enough daytime TV for one day... boredom overtook me and I withdrew a little of my profit from Ladbrokes and deposited $50 into PokerStars and embarked on a challenge to win a WSOP main event package, via the familiar 'Steps' route.

As you will remember the PCA Atlantis attempt ended in tears, with $200 down the pan, and if I'm totally honest I will be very suprised if this attempt fares much better... WHOA!!! Wait, what am I saying? How can I possibly play with that sort of attitude?

Anyway, I'm off to flying start, so far I have paid for one $7.50 Step 1 buy-in and two 500 FPP Step 1 buy-ins. On top of those three Step 1's I have also played one other Step 1 (a booby prize in a Step 2), two Step 2's ($27), one Step 3 ($82) and one Step 4 ($215). I am now the proud holder of one Step 5 ticket - that's a $700 STT ffs!!!
